Committees unite community members and Chamber members in an effort to improve the economic conditions and quality of life for the Galesburg community. Committees are organized to have a long-term impact on the operation of the Chamber and are permanent.  Task forces are formed on an as needed basis to address specific short-term issues impacting our community.  To learn more about how to become involved contact the Chamber.

Governmental Affairs + Transportation

Representing the voice of Chamber members, to ensure a business friendly environment is maintained and enhanced, is critical. As your businesses’ advocate we serve as the starting point for discussions on issues that affect business. We maintain relationships with government officials and monitor important issues such as transportation and legislation.

Ambassadors

Ambassadors are the Chamber’s member relations representatives. They educate members about membership benefits and services. They also create new opportunities for interaction among the Chamber, the community and our members. Ambassadors also play an important role in ensuring member voices are heard, as they are regularly in-touch with new and existing members. Meet our current Ambassadors!
